Rotary Club of Bay City

History of the Club

The Rotary Club of Chicago Illinois was founded On February 23, 1905. That small club, with four members, grew into the largest international service club in the world.

To celebrate the 100th birthday of Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Bay City, Michigan published a book to tell the story of this club over its, then, 90 years.

Today the club is 102. An updated history will probably be published on the club's own 100th birthday.

At the time of this writing, the text for that 2005 History was not available in electronic form. Therefore, the book was scanned as JPG images and is presented here.

Pages shown here are slightly reduced in size. To see the full size image in another window, click the page itself.

You are invited to scan the book by clicking the prior and next buttons at the top and bottom of each page. You can also jump to a specific page number. You'll be presented one page at a time.

Note that the four cover pages are not numbered. So the 3rd physical page is numberd "page 1". The web counts physical pages. Sorry for the confusion.
