I’m honored and excited to begin this new Rotary year as your club president. Thank you for placing your trust in me—I’m eager to serve alongside each of you.
Our Rotary International theme for 2025–2026 is "Unite for Good." It’s a powerful reminder that the greatest impact happens when we come together with purpose, passion, and unity. Whether it's service projects, fundraising, or simply showing up for each other at our weekly meetings, everything we do contributes to making our community—and the world—a better place. Our community is like others around the world - in need of kindness, leadership, and connection. This is where Rotary shines. We are not just a group of professionals: we are people of action. Rotary has always been about bringing people together to do meaningful work. This year, we are being asked to take it even further: to be intentional about unity, about collaboration, and about doinggood - in all the ways that word can be lived out.
One of the best ways to get involved this year is by signing up for a committee. Our club runs on the time and talents of its members, and there’s a place for everyone to contribute—whether you're drawn to planning events, promoting Rotary in the community, organizing service projects, or supporting fundraising efforts. Committees are not only a great way to make a difference, but also a fun way to connect with fellow Rotarians. Committees help our club reach new levels by strengthening our membership, increasing our visibility, and driving our local impact.
Let’s get to work!
District Governor Visit July 22, 2025
District Governor Paul Wiese (Hey! We know him!) will be visiting our club on July 22nd. Paul is an active member of our club and is busy traveling the District, and the world, promoting Rotary. Governor Wiese will share his goals for the District, stories of his travels while connecting with Rotarians across the globe.
Members of the Rotary Club of Bay City and Rotary Club of Bay City Satellite Service Club helped prepare meals for the Dow Bay Area YMCA's Rural Congregate Food Program. Our club granted $10,000 to provide match funding for this program that provides fresh, made from scratch meals for youth in areas that are not close to locations that provide free meals during the summer.
Over 300 meals were packaged!
Many hands and smiling faces make light work.
