Don't forget to renew your Polio Plus Society Commitment
“Polio's pretty special because once you get an eradication, you no longer have to spend money on it; it's just there as a gift for the rest of time.” — Bill Gates
Happy Fall Y'all!
Not only are the leaves changing, but so is our meeting location! This month we begin to meet at Old City Hall and we continue our fight to eradicate Polio. Our very own Chuck Cusick will be traveling the district this month to speak with clubs on Rotary's current polio eradication efforts and encouraging each Polio Plus Society member to renew their $100 commitment to eradication polio.
October is also a month of planning for our club! Sara Parker is looking for businesses to host a student for our annual Vocational Day on November 12th. This year our club will host a luncheon, with the Morning Club, at the Doubletree from 12:00 - 1:30pm. Please reach out to Sara at sara@baycityarea.com if you are interested in hosting or know of a business that would host.
October will wrap up for us with a visit from our District Governor Rod Bieber on October 29th
Don't forget - we begin meeting at Old City Hall on October 1, 2024!
